The pair became embroiled in a furious Twitter spat today after he hit out at the Love Island star for her behaviour on Celebs Go Dating.

In a clip posted to E4’s social media account, the 20-year-old was seen stealing a drink from a love interest, and then telling him she preferred his mate.

Mario, 31, was left unimpressed by her actions as he tweeted: “She is just an awful little girl.”

In Georgia’s typically bold fashion, the York girl turned down a potential suitor on the dating series as she said: “Your blue T-shirt makes me feel like I’m looking up at the sky, it’s that bloody blue. I’ll have that [drink] and I’ll talk to your mate!’

The reality star quickly regretted her response and tried to backtrack and said: “Oh god, that was a bit savage wasn’t it? Sorry babe!”

But the whole scene did not please Mario who snapped: “She is just an awful little girl…It amazes me… she is one of the most awful people I have seen on tv.”

Georgia didn’t take Mario’s remarks lightly and said: “Mario you are so fake, to my face you say hello and all nice yet but behind a your phone screen you chuck abuse my way. Let’s not forget your a grown man with a family and I’m a 20 year old girl that has just stepped into the industry. So just leave me alone.

“As its not the first time you have decided to go for me. And to be honest I’m fed up of it go find a new topic to talk about.”

Mario continued to lash out and said: “You really think you are something special… you are on tv, if you act the way you do, people will have an opinion… my opinion is you aren’t particularly nice.

“I said hello to you as you walked by as I am polite and you were with people I respect. Grow up & be nice to people.”

Despite their heated Twitter take down, things seemed to calm down when Georgia tweeted: “It’s unfortunate that you felt the need to publicly write your opinions about me instead of coming to me directly if you had an issue.

“We are both in the same industry and it’s not good to tear each other down.”

The pair where then locked into a bitter Twitter dispute

In a bid to put an end to their feud, Mario responded: “I think you are a girl that a lot of younger girls look upto. Just remember that when you talk to people the way you do. Manners cost nothing Georgia. All the best x.”

Georgia is taking part in sixth series of Celebs Go Dating after splitting from her Love Island boyfriend Sam Bird last year.

She is used to hitting the headlines for her behaviour, and caused a storm on the ITV2 reality show with THAT kiss with Jack Fowler – which annoyed viewers and her fellow reality stars on the show.
