KERRY Katona has revealed her complicated family history as she explained growing up with a granddad who became her DAD.
The mum-of-five also appeared to forget TWO of her kids as she was told off by the Celebs Go Dating gurus who for always bringing up her past.
Kerry said last night: “When I was born the guy my mum was with I called ‘dad’ for two years. His dad was my granddad.
“But then my mum left my dad for my granddad so my dad became my brother and my granddad became my dad because she married him.
“Then my mum’s friend told me I had another dad. I’ve only told you a little bit because we’ll be here all day.”
The former Atomic Kitten star has often used her three failed marriages and five kids as a funny one-liner to potential dates.
But dating expert Paul Carrick Brunson tried to tell her that she has to “change her story” to attract the right kind of man.
Asking her to remind him how she usually introduces herself, Kerry said: “Yeah I’m married, three kids…”
Narrator Rob Beckett mocked the mum-of-five, saying: “What happened to the other two? Or are they now her uncles?”
It was a tough episode for Kerry last night as she broke down in tears when she admitted the only time she was “ever in love” was with her first husband Brian McFadden.
The 38-year-old sobbed as she recalled her dating history and admitted it’s gone “downhill” since her first divorce.
“The only time I was ever in love was my first husband. I look back now and think ‘god we were so young, was it puppy love?’” she told the dating experts.
Brian and Kerry met in 1999 and dated for three years before getting married in 2002 and finalising their divorce in 2006.
“Brian was my the only love of my life and it went downhill from there. When Brian left me I didn’t want to be rich and famous I wanted to belong.”
Becoming overwhelmed with tears, Kerry continued: “I didn’t want my kids to have a broken home. I kept doing the same pattern over and over again.
