Bungling driver wedges himself perfectly between two cars after ‘many-points-turn’ without doing any damage

THIS driver managed to get his car well and truly stuck when he tried to turn around, blocking the road for around 90 minutes.

The driver, who did not want to give his name for perhaps obvious reasons, was trying to turn his car around in a cul-de-sac in Clarendon Park, Leicester when he was trying to find a place to park.

He told the Leicester Mercury: "I was just trying to find somewhere to park and going round that little stretch of road.

"When I got there, I was trying to turn round, but there wasn't enough space for a three-point turn.

"I was trying to squeeze in and out and in and out, and somehow I ended up there.

"I thought that there wasn't enough room to do a three-point turn, so I was doing a many point turn, and managed to wedge myself so perfectly.

The 25-year-old driver, who passed his test when he was 18 but admitted he does not drive very often, said that he was just trying to find a place to park.

Once he had got the car wedged into the gap, he faced the problem of trying to get it out again.
