A FIVE-year-old boy died after being his by a van yesterday afternoon.
The little boy was riding his bike when he was struck be the vehicle in Knaphill, Surrey.

He died in hospital after suffering serious injuries, with his family present.
One neighbour, who wanted to remain anonymous, told Surrey Live: “It’s just heartbreaking, awful, I have no words.”
A Surrey Police statement said: “Officers were called to Limecroft Road at 4.10pm after a collision between a five-year-old boy on a bicycle and a van, which stopped at the scene.
“The boy, who was from the local area, did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased in hospital.
“His next of kin were present.

“An investigation into the incident is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
“The road was closed while officers carried out on-scene investigations but has since reopened.
“Officers are appealing for anyone with any information about what happened, including dashcam footage from the road to get in touch immediately on 101 and quote the reference number PR/P19068580 or tell us online.”
