WELL, what a week we had at Cheltenham last week.
Big name winners and successful favourites is always a good combo for punters and I’m hoping to take that momentum into a new week.
2.10 Arqalina – Things have clicked with this mare since she went handicapping off a lowly mark.
Venetia Williams has sent a strong team to Exeter on Monday and I expect this seven-year-old to be one of a couple of winners.
She’s up another 10lbs but looks completely unexposed and will relish conditions.

4.05 The Dawn Man – Henry Oliver is a trainer going places and has his team in great order.
This is a weak handicap hurdle and The Dawn man has plummeted down the weights to a more than appealing mark.
Jason Dixon takes off a further 7lbs and he should be bang there at Southwell.
3.25 Enjoy Responsibly – This is probably the best race of the day and Oliver Sherwood’s consistent ten-year-old should come out on top.
He finds it hard to win these days but has dropped down the weights and has found a kinder opening here.
It’s also the first time in a while he’s come across his favoured conditions and should make it pay.
