THE Bankers were in flying form on Tuesday, with two winners from three runners.
There are plenty of opportunities to be had on Wednesday, too, and I reckon I’ve got a few good things up my sleeve.
3.05 Elegiac – The return of Nottingham sees the return of the Further Flight Stakes and I reckon Elegiac could have too much gas for favourite Pilaster.
He’s got 4lb to find on ratings but he’s had a race at Chelmsford to get him fit and I reckon that could be the difference between the two.
Roger Varian’s four-year-old ended last year in disappointing fashion and this could be the perfect time for Mark Johnston’s colt to swoop.
Bully's Wednesday Bankers
Nottingham 3.05 – Elegiac
Warwick 3.45 – Cuddles McGraw
Lingfield 3.25 – Shanghai Grace
kempton 6.45 – Iley Boy
3.45 Cuddles McGraw – Looks a real stayer judged on his second at Uttoxeter last time, where he kept finding for pressure from a long way out.
He couldn’t get to the winner that day but now steps up in trip and I reckon this faster ground will suit.
He was coming off the back of a break that day so should strip fitter now and he’s the one to catch.

3.25 Shanghai Grace – Has turned his form around since being united with the classy Cieren Fallon and a 6lb rise for winning very easily last time could have been sterner.
He steps up in grade here but has plenty more to offer under these conditions.
Fallon’s 7lb claim is extremely useful and the pair can strike again.
TUESDAY REPORT The Sun Racing team reviews the action from around the tracks
6.45 Iley Boy – The drop back to 1m2f looks just the ticket based on his effort over a longer trip last time, where he faded in the last 100 yards.
Cieren Fallon could double up as his 7lb claim means his mount is effectively running off 48 – a mark 3lb lower than when he was last successful.
He loves this track and can strike for the second time this winter.
