Barcelona youth sensation Xavi Simons announces exit before being pictured at PSG with agent Mino Raiola

BARCELONA prodigy Xavi Simons appears to be heading to Paris Saint-Germain after announcing his Nou Camp exit this afternoon.

The talented teenager, 16, is one of the hottest properties to emerge from La Masia in years.

Xavi Simons has revealed he is leaving Barcelona, with the 16-year-old set for PSG

He joined Barcelona as a seven-year-old and has already amassed over 1million followers on Instagram, as well as landing a lucrative sponsorship deal with Nike.

Dutchman Simons, who plies his trade as a skilful central midfielder, recently made infamous super-agent Mino Raiola his new representative.

And it appears that the same man who takes care of Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic has already been pulling the strings regarding Simons’ career.

The youngster revealed today that he was calling time on his adventure in the Catalan capital.

And pictures then emerged of him and Raiola getting out of a car at PSG’s club headquarters.

It is sure to be seen as a huge coup for the French giants, who are currently locked in talks with Barca over a Nou Camp return for Neymar.

The Brazilian is desperate to return to his former stomping ground, just two years after a world-record £200m switch to the Parc des Princes.

However, it’s understood Barcelona are way off the mark when it comes to a transfer fee.

PSG are looking to recoup as much of the £200m as possible in cash, with Barca’s latest offer reportedly consisting of just £90m plus the choice of two squad players.
