BARCELONA are reportedly lining up a move for Atletico Madrid star Filipe Luis.

Mundo Deportivo claims the left-back could be heading to Catalonia when his contract in the Spanish capital expires this summer.

Luis, 33, is described as the “perfect fit” for Barca, who are keen to land experienced cover for Jordi Alba.

However, it would only be a short-term deal for the Brazilian, with youngster Juan Miranda seen as the next big thing at the Nou Camp.

Luis is still playing well at Atletico, having re-joined them from Chelsea in 2015.

But Diego Simeone is ready to give French World Cup winner the left-back spot on a permanent basis.

And Luis could be prepared to move to a rival in order to continue playing at the highest level.

However, Barca are not alone in their interest, with Juventus also keen.

Meanwhile, additional reports claim the La Liga champions have withdrawn a contract offer to Adrien Rabiot.

The Frenchman is leaving PSG on a free transfer this summer, but his wage demands are currently too high for Barca to fulfil.
