BARCELONA have admitted if a Real Madrid player wanted to leave the Bernabeu, they would make a move.
This has potentially opened the door for Isco to move to the Nou Camp this summer.
Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu appeared on El Partidazo de COPE and made the confessions.
He said: “If our coaches asked us for a player and they want to leave Madrid, of course we would sign them.
“[There are] no agreements but there has not been this case since I arrived in 2010.”
When asked directly about Isco, he added: “If they ask for a player, I would talk to the president of Madrid [Florentino Perez] first, but that has never happened.”
It therefore suggests that there is a mutual respect between the two clubs but it is clear Batomeu has not ruled out a potential move if Isco declares he wants to leave.
The Spanish playmaker, 26, has suffered under current manager Santiago Solari, who replaced Julen Lopetegui at the beginning of November.
Isco has not started a league game since and has been forced to play a bit-part role at the Bernabeu.
He has been linked with a move away from Los Blancos and if Solari stays beyond the end of the season, the star is expected to leave.
But could he emulate the likes of Figo, Ronaldo and Luis Enrique in playing for both Barcelona and Real Madrid?
The clubs meet at the Nou Camp tonight in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final.
It is the first of three meetings within a month – the second leg is at the end of February and then they meet in LaLiga on the first weekend of March.
Real Madrid are desperate to make amends for the 5-1 drubbing in October.
Bartomeu also had his say on some of the big topics surrounding his club.
He denied that there has been any talk about a return to Barcelona for Neymar, what the future holds for Philippe Coutinho and potential target Adrien Rabiot, while admitting there was talks with Vinicius Jr, now at Real Madrid.
Bartomeu said: “Neymar has never called me back, neither the father nor the player, they are rumors that come out, but the truth is that he has never called me in.
“I have seen him and we have talked about football and projects but he has never called me.

“We do not want to sell Coutinho.
“Rabiot is a free player, Barça has already issued a statement to clarify that he did not have Rabiot signed, there is no agreement.
“If Barça is negotiating with Rabiot, I will not say so.
“Vinicius was a player who was in the market and his family and his agents were here.”
