CARDIFF defender apologised to a travelling Bluebirds fan after he broke his glasses celebrating his goal at Southampton.
The Bluebirds skipper opened the scoring for Neil Warnock’s side with 20 minutes to go and ran towards the away fans to celebrate.
Cardiff fan Noah Bushby was the first to hug the big defender who had just scored his third league goal of the season.
After being pegged back by Jack Stephens’ late reply, Warnock’s side stole all three points moments later when Kenneth Zahore scored from close range.
And Bushby took to social media after the game to reveal his broken pair of specs.
He said on Twitter: “Definitely worth breaking my glasses celebrating with @Sol14Bamba today #CityAsOne.”

However, Bushby would have been shocked when he checked his twitter notifications to see his club captain reply.
Bamba said: “Ahahah sorry for your glasses big man you hugged me harder than my wife ever did.”
And the big name replies did not stop there as Bluebirds CEO Ken Choo thanked him for his support and promised to be in touch about a replacement pair.
He tweeted vis the club’s official account: “Thank you #Bluebirds for the incredible support at St Mary’s.
“@ Noah Bushby – I hear you may need some new glasses. Alongside our friends @ Specsavers, we can help. We’ll be in touch!”
