Baftas 2019 LIVE updates – red carpet arrivals set to be led by Kate Middleton, Olivia Colman and more

THE Baftas are back so expect to see all the glitz and glamour of Hollywood on our doorstep in the UK.
It’s the highlight of the year for the British film industry and will no doubt be an evening to remember as the crème de la crème shimmy their way down the red carpet at London’s Royal Albert Hall for the Baftas 2019.
Stars and fans alike wait with baited breath to see who’ll get to take home the coveted statuette award.
As it stands The Favourite and its main star Olivia Colman are tipped to get their hands on the gong.
But you’ll have to tune in to BBC1 at 9pm to find out for yourselves – the swanky ceremony actually starts at 7pm but has a 2-hour broadcast delay.
And Ab Fans can get excited as national icon Joanna Lumley will be hosting the show.
Though hopefully she won’t be on the receiving end of any unwelcomed jokes like at last year’s ceremony when Jennifer Lawrence landed herself in hot water after ‘dissing’ our national treasure.
Either way the annual ceremony never disappoints and is sure to have some memorable moments in store.

Stay tuned with our live blog for all the news and goss from the red carpet and inside the ceremony…
