The second trailer to Avengers: Endgame revealed a new suit for the Avengers. Many of the surviving superheroes were pictured in new white suits. Made notorious by his absence in a white suit was Bruce Banner, played by Mark Ruffalo.
What does the Funko! Pop toy reveal about the Hulk?
On the official Marvel website’s breakdown of the trailer, it says: “With the team reassembled to take on Thanos, we see them sporting a unified team look.
“The new suits with the Avengers ‘A’ emblem seem inspired by Hank Pym’s suit he wore to rescue Janet Van Dyne in the Quantum Realm at the end of Ant-Man and The Wasp.”
The Funko! Pop Hulk toy features the Hulk, not Bruce Banner, in one of these white suits.
What this means for the Avengers: Endgame is speculative at this point.
But the toy compounded with the first Endgame trailer hint towards the inclusion of Professor Hulk in Endgame.
Professor Hulk is a halfway point between Bruce Banner and the Hulk, who are often at odds with each other.
The professor is a slightly smaller Hulk, who possesses the same strength but is able to maintain Banner’s personality.
In the first trailer, the Avengers walk through their hanger and leave an awkward gap between each other.

Fans were quick to point out the gap, and guessed it was a CGI alteration to hide a specific character.
Initial speculations were towards Captain Marvel, but now fans think it could be Professor Hulk being hidden by CGI.
The Russo brothers have long worked through the detailed character arc of the Hulk.
In the Avengers: Infinity War DVD, Joe Russo said: “This was an interesting journey we went on with Banner, trying to decide how we move him forward in the Marvel Universe.
“What makes him unique as a character is that there is a host body that is being fought over by two distinct personalities who hate each other. And both want control of the host body.
MARVEL MOVIE CAMEOS: WILL STAN LEE CAMEO IN OTHER MARVEL MOVIES?
“So we thought an interesting direction to take him in is what if Banner, who typically uses the Hulk to solve crisis situations, what if the Hulk were no longer interested in solving those problems for Banner?
“So that the relationship is becoming increasingly dysfunctional. That’s what’s going on here.
“People have speculated whether there was some fear on the Hulk’s part about having to face Thanos again.
“But I think ultimately what it is, is that he’s tired of playing hero to Bruce Banner.”
So Professor Hulk would be a good bridge between the two, and would allow Banner a chance to shine in Avengers: Endgame.
Avengers: Endgame is out in cinemas on April 25, 2019.
