IF you like a McMuffin in the mornings, check out these new ready-made sausage and egg muffins from Asda.
They cost just £1 each, compared to £2.49 at McDonald’s – a saving of 60 per cent.
The bargain was spotted by a shopper in the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
Some shoppers have said they “taste exactly the same” as maccies, while others said they are “nowhere hear as good.”
You can pick up the Asda version online here or in your nearest store.
But Asda isn’t the only option if you want a cheap alternative to a McDonald’s breakfast.
Tesco sell a similar product – called the Heat ‘Em Up breakfast sausage and egg muffin, which costs £1.
And and Iceland do a Big Snack breakfast muffin with sausage and egg for exactly the same price.
Aldi’s sausage breakfast muffin has no egg but it does come with a hash brown and it’s 99p.
While Sainsbury’s and Morrisons sell Rustler’s breakfast muffin – costing £1.50 and £2 respectively.
And there’s no egg or hash brown either.
