JUVENTUS director of football Fabio Paratici says Arsenal failed to get the best out of Aaron Ramsey because they never allowed him to play in his best position.
Ramsey is leaving Arsenal as a free agent in the summer after signing a four-year contract with the Italian Champions this week.
And Paratici is convinced the 28-year-old Welsh international will soon show the Gunners exactly what they are missing.
Ramsey failed to convince Unai Emery that he deserved a new Emirates contract after struggling to fit into the new manager’s system.
But Paratici has no doubts that his club’s new signing will be a major success in Serie A and says: “Ramsey is someone who has failed to find his position because he hasn’t played in a midfield three, which is his role.
“He is a player who is very different to what we already have at Juventus.
“We don’t have anyone like him in our squad because he is more technical than any of our midfielders.
“He is a final ball man who is capable to come in from deep with quick passing and he has an eye for goal.
“He can also play a bit further up the pitch because he runs a lot but is less nasty in defence and less tactical.”
Paratici’s assessment will raise further questions about Emery’s failure to get the best out of a player who has started only three Premier League games in the last five months.

Ramsey’s move to Juventus will see him earning around £200,000-a-week after tax, which is more than he was asking for from Arsenal.
But the club’s decision to hand Mesut Ozil a deal worth £350,000-a-week meant Arsenal refused to meet Ramsey’s demands and forced him to run his current contract down.
