BILLIONAIRE Alisher Usmanov could be set to invest in Everton after selling his shares in Arsenal.
The Russian has agreed to flog his stake in the Gunners to Stan Kroenke.

Now he has thrown weight by speculation he could be about to get back into the game by working together with Toffees owner and close ally Farhad Moshiri.
Usmanov, 64, told Bloomberg: “We are friends with Farhad Moshiri.
“If he needs the support, I am happy to help.
“Should there be a proposal or a possibility to invest in them with good potential returns, I would consider the deal.”

Usmanov has long been linked with an investment at Everton.
He and Moshiri arrived together at Arsenal in 2007 before the latter sold his shares to the Usmanov two years ago.

That was so the Iranian businessman could take control at Goodison Park.
A number of Everton supporters had hoped Usmanov would follow suit and his company, USM, have already agreed a deal to sponsor the Blues’ training ground.
