UNAI EMERY reckons Denis Suarez is FINALLY ready to start for Arsenal.

The Gunners look unlikely to take up their option to buy the on-loan Barcelona midfielder for £18million this summer.

Suarez, 25, has yet to start a competitive game since joining in January.

But he played 90 minutes and created a goal in Wednesday’s 3-2 friendly win over Al Nasr in Dubai.

Now he could face Newcastle on Monday.

Boss Emery said: “He is OK for starting in the first XI, to give us this impact.

“We are going to need everybody, every player for the next matches.

“Now we have a lot of players ready, with a big mentality and with a big performance to play and help us.”

Aaron Ramsey has recovered from a thigh strain while Granit Xhaka and Nacho Monreal are also expected to be fit to play.

Danny Welbeck, Rob Holding, Emile Smith-Rowe, Emiliano Martinez and Hector Bellerin are all long-term absentees.

Meanwhile, Newcastle defender Fabian Schar – who was knocked unconscious on international duty for Switzerland against Georgia – is suspended.
