Apex Legends server status is going back online following a major outage on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
It appears that full multiplayer services went down several hours ago due to an unknown issue.
Respawn Entertainment revealed as much earlier today, confirming that the outage was being looked into.
“We are currently investigating an issue that’s affecting all platforms,” the message from the development team reads.
“Hang tight and sorry for the issue. We’ll update when we have more.”
The good news is that servers are now back online and looked to be staying that way for the majority of Apex Legends gamers.
PS4 and Xbox One are the most stable platforms for playing multiplayer tonight, although Origin PC is slowly returning to normal.
“We are seeing good recovery on consoles,” the Respawn Entertainment statement reads.
“PC is slowly coming back up as well but not out of the woods yet. We’re continuing to work on it. Thanks for your patience.”
It’s unclear what caused tonight’s outage or if it might be a problem that returns later tonight.
