MANCHESTER CITY star Sergio Aguero has scored his 11th Premier League hat-trick in Sunday’s 6-0 thrashing of Chelsea – equalling Alan Shearer’s record.
But referee Mike Dean wanted to steal the Argentine’s show – at least a little – and hid the ball, usually given to hat-trick heroes, away from the striker.

Aguero quickly sniffed Chelsea defenders were not up to the task at the Etihad and bagged two goals in six minutes before half-time, completing his hat-trick after the break.
It came just a week after he smashed three past Arsenal – becoming the fifth player in the Premier League history to notch up a hat-trick in consecutive home games, and the first since Chelsea legend Didier Drogba in 2010.
But most importantly, he has therefore equalled Alan Shearer‘s record of 11 Prem hat-tricks.
And when he was ready to collect the matchball for his effort referee Mike Dean – typically for himself – stepped in and, seeing the camera pointing at him, pulled a prank on the Argentine.
And, he absolutely loved it.
The ref hid the ball behind his back before handing it to the bemused hat-trick hero.
But it was not the only Dean’s stunt of the Sunday afternoon.
He was also seen flamboyantly pointing to the spot to give City a penalty in the second half – which Aguero converted to complete his hat-trick.
