CALLING all Friends fans, a musical based on the iconic US show is about to arrive in the UK.
“Friendsical” is a parody musical based on all six of the main characters – Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey and Phoebe – around the time of the first episode.
Written by Miranda Larson, the exciting new show begins at season one, when Ross has just split from ex-wife Carol and Rachel has recently run out on her wedding to Barry.
And while you might be wondering what songs will feature in the musical, just you wait.
Hit tracks include: “(He’s Her) Lobster!”, “Richard’s Moustache” and the classic, “You’re Over Me? When Were You Under Me?”
There’ll also be Naked Thursdays, a power cut and (obviously) a dinosaur convention.
When Ross’ wife leaves him for another woman, he fears he will never find love again,” reads the synopsis.
“But then Rachel runs back into his life… will he end up with his one true love?”
The musical will open at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham on July 15, followed by a nationwide tour visiting: Darlington, Derry, Newcastle, Kingston, Malvern, Blackpool, Chelmsford, Southampton and Croydon.
It will also run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival from August 1-25.
