The Cruiserweight champion today shared a letter from his lawyer Tom Cargill which states “the matter is closed”.
It read: “The Phoenix Police Department recently informed Mr Arndt and his counsel that there is insufficient evidence in this matter to warrant any criminal charges, that the matter will not be transferred to the County Attorney for prosecution, and that their investigation and case is closed.
“No charges were ever filed. The matter is closed.”
US wrestler Amore denied all allegations of rape and last month told his social media followers: “Believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear.”
Amore, who has also been linked with a career in music, is now working on making his return.
His lawyer’s statement reads: “Mr Arndt is working diligently toward his next venture in the entertainment industry and looks forward to reconnecting with his fans in a big way in the very near future.”
Wrestling fans inundated Amore with messages of support after allegations surfaced.
The self-proclaimed “Certified G and Bona-Fide Stud” thanked his followers for sticking by him.
