THE wife of top Irish racehorse trainer Edward O’Grady has been killed in a riding accident.
Maria O’Grady is understood to have fallen from her horse while out on the hunting field on Saturday.

The couple had two daughters together Mimi and Rosie Mai.
She is also survived by Edward’s older children Jonathan, Amber and Lucy.
Grieving Jonathan released a statement about the tragic accident, saying: “On behalf of Edward and family, it is with shock and profound sorrow that I confirm Maria O’Grady died suddenly today following a tragic fall.”
Maria’s maiden name was Anderton and her family are from Ballymackey, Nenagh, Co Tipperary.
