Who’s on The One Show tonight?
David Walliams is a 46-year-old comedian, actor and children’s author, who’s now best known for his role as a judge on BGT, on which he showcases his camp persona.
In 2015 he was awarded the gong for Best Judge at the National Television Awards in recognition of his work on the show.
His career began after he met comedy partner Matt Lucas while performing with the National Youth Theatre, after graduating from Bristol with a BA in Drama.
The duo became big names on the back of Little Britain, a sketch comedy show known for recurring characters like Andy and Lou and Carol the unhelpful saleswoman.
David has also written 17 children’s books – 12 story and five picture books – since he first tried his hand at children’s literature in 2008.
He married supermodel Lara Stone in 2010 but they divorced after five years, fighting an 18-month legal battle over their combined £19million fortune.

The 79-year-old joined the BBC as a news reporter in Bristol during the 60s and has appeared in news programmes since 1962.
Back in 2013, it was revealed that David had got his first tattoo aged 75 – a scorpion on his right shoulder because he is a Scorpio.
He is married to TV producer Belinda Giles and the pair wed in 2000, after first getting together in 1993.
Belinda is the granddaughter of Herbrand Sackville, 9th Earl De La Warr and the couple have a son, Fred.
