Who is Craig Johnston?
The 21-year-old is the sous chef at the Michelin star pub and restaurant near Maidenhead, Berkshire.
He has worked at the restaurant, which is owned by Sir Michael Parkinson and his son Nick, since June 2016.
He started off as Junior Sous chef before being promoted to his current position this March.
He has previous experience as Chef de Partie – Pastry at the Michelin star Pollen Street Social.
Craig hails from Slough and studied professional cookery at Henley College.
The Royal Oak has given their man its full backing throughout the competition so far, tweeting and facebooking their support for him as he progresses.

When does Masterchef: The Professionals air on BBC2?
The 13th episode of the new series airs Tuesday at 8pm on BBC Two, with episode 14 following on Wednesday December 5 at the same time.
There are 21 episodes in total as the prestigious cooking contest celebrates its 10th birthday.
Over the course of the show, the original group of 48 hopefuls gets whittled down through various gruelling stages until one talented foodie rules them all.
