Who Is Anastasia Bryzgalova? Russian Curling Star And Instagram Sensation Taking The Winter Olympics By Storm



SPORTS fans have fallen in love with Russian curler Anastasia Bryzgalova at the Winter Olympics.

Let’s take a closer look at the 25-year-old athlete.

Who is Anastasia Bryzgalova?

Born in December 1992 in the beautiful Russian city of St. Petersburg, Anastasia studies at Lesgaft National State University.

The young athlete is a top class curler and plays predominately as a “vice” meaning she delivers the second last pair of her team’s stones.

She competes for professionally for team CC Adamant who are based in  St. Petersburg.

And Anastasia is a world champion at the sport, having won the 2016 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship with husband and curling partner Alexander Krushelnitskiy.

At the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in South Korea, the Russian won a bronze medal in the Curling Mixed Doubles.

She currently has over 68,000 fans on Instagram who follow her regular posts showing her training and relaxing with her husband.

Winter Olympic viewers have been left stunned by her features and many have been bowled over by her bikini pictures on social media.
