Who Has Pat Phelan Killed In Coronation Street And Is Eileen Grimshaw The Next Character He Murders?

He’s one of soaps most notorious villains, who has everyone at the edge of their seat to see what he will get up to next.

Here’s all you need to know about Pat Phelan, played by Connor McIntyre, including who he has killed and who could be up next…

ITV Pat Phelan has been wreaking havoc on the cobbles for years

Who is Pat Phelan?

Coronation Street’s Pat Phelan is a businessman, builder and con artist.

He has become one of the most hated men in soap after attacking Anna Windass, played by Debbie Rush.

He was at the centre of a violent storyline over Christmas 2017 which left Corrie fans wondering – when will Pat Phelan be discovered and finally get his comeuppance?

Who has Pat killed so far?

The villain has been wreaking havoc throughout Weatherfield in recent months after murdering Andy Carver and Vinny Ashford, before successfully framing Anna Windass for attempted murder. The character, played by Debbie Rush, has been sentenced to five years in prison.

While all of his friends and family are totally in the dark about his crimes, except his daughter Nicola Rubinstein, Phelan shouldn’t breathe easy just yet.

He later killed Luke Britton after beating him up before shooting at the unconscious characters petrol tank, exploding his car as he was inside.

On January 17, fans even suspected he could be plotting to murder wife Eileen Grimshaw after she confronted him over Luke Britton’s death.

Many believed she’d signed her own death warrant by questioning him about the murder after he was picked up by the police in connection with the crime.

Phelan shot Luke before allowing him to burn to death in a shocking scene that aired earlier this month.

ITV Eileen could be Pat Phelan’s undoing as his lies catch up with him

Does Eileen kill Pat?

On 1st February 2018, The Sun’s Bizarre column reported that Pat will finally get his comeuppance – thanks to wife Eileen.

Pat will be presumed dead after being pushed off a cliff by Eileen in shocking scenes.

His dark days finally catch up with him when the couple go on a cottage break to the coast and the bodies of some of his victims are found on his building site back in Weatherfield.

As Pat and Eileen argue on the clifftops, he lunges at her before she pushes him over the edge and into the sea.

A Corrie source said: “The whole show has been building up to this point for some time. Phelan’s murderous ways will finally be revealed while he and Eileen are on a mini-break.

“But while they’re there the police find the bodies at his building site and Liz tells Eileen about everything.

“When they start to clash while out walking Phelan tries to go for her and she sidesteps him and throws him into the sea.

“It will stun and delight viewers. He’s finally getting his comeuppance.”

But Eileen’s problems don’t end with her husband — who has killed four people since arriving on the Cobbles — going headfirst into the water.

When she returns to Weatherfield, friends begin to question whether she knew about his crimes all along.

And the police find it hard to believe she was completely in the dark.

Tracy Barlow — herself a murderer — will lead the gossip, asking in the pub: “So, what do we think? Did Bonnie push Clyde. Did Eileen kill Phelan?”

Her best friend Sarah confronted her about her drug use – which Davina had been attempting to hide – saying: “I know you’re lying to me and I know you’ve been taking heroin.”

The moment proved to be a turning point for Davina, who said to You magazine: “I explained I knew she was right and I wanted to change. She forgave me and we had a massive cry. I went into the NA meeting that night and my life changed.”
