EVERY year, Brits slip on their best and most bizarre Christmas jumpers to raise money for charity.

When is Christmas Jumper Day?

Christmas Jumper Day normally takes place on a Friday in the second or third week of December.

This year it is on December 15.

How is Peter Andre involved with Christmas Jumper Day?

Dad-of-four Pete is one of the many celebs taking part in the fundraiser this year.

He said: “My Christmas jumpers are always over the top, I love lights, tinsel and plenty of colour when it comes to my festive knit.

“The kids are such a big part of Christmas and I’m so lucky that I get to spend it with them.

“I hope everyone can get involved with Christmas Jumper Day this year and donate £2 to Save the Children.”

How does Christmas Jumper Day raise money for Save the Children?

Christmas Jumper Day was launched in 2012, as a fundraising campaign by Save the Children.

People are encouraged to ‘make the world better with a sweater’.

The idea is to wear a Christmas jumper to school or work – and then make a minimum £2 donation to Save the Children.

Some groups organise additional fundraising activities on the day in question. Click here to sign up your workplace.
