What’s wrong with Meghan Markle’s dad Thomas?
Thomas has been forced to pull out from the Royal Wedding for a second time – this time claiming he is in poor health.
Meghan’s dad was determined to attend the nuptials in London even after suffering a heart attack a week ago.
However, he began suffering chest pains again on Monday.
Thomas claims his son, Thomas Junior, triggered his initial heart scare by writing an open letter to Prince Harry not to marry Meghan.
The retired lighting director, who lives in Rosarito, Mexico, said medics had told him his heart was “seriously damaged” after his recent heart attack.
According to TMZ, Thomas Markle said surgeons will clear blockage in his heart, repair the damage and put in a stent.

When is his heart surgery and did he have a heart attack?
Reports suggest Thomas Markle’s surgery is scheduled for 3.30pm BST today, May 16.
It comes after Meghan’s dad checked himself into hospital for a battery of tests following recurring chest pains.
The surgery comes just one week after he was admitted to hospital for a heart attack.
His heart problems were revealed in a televised interview in Britain by Meghan’s half-sister Samantha.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, she did not specify the timing of the heart attack but said that her father was "quite depressed over the unbelievable series of events involving the media."
News of his heart attack came just days after he was caught out staging paparazzi photographs in an ill-fated bid to improve his image.
