THE second Major of the year is upon us as the US Open gets going over the pond.
This year the tournament is being held at the picturesque Shinnecock Hills, located in Suffolk County, New York.

Last year’s champion Brooks Koepka will defend his title and organisers have been keen to make this year as tough as possible after the American posted -16 in 2017.
The rough has been grown out and scoring could be tough on the 7,440 yards course.

What time does the US Open start?
THIS year’s event will run from Thursday June 14 to Sunday June 17.
The first golfers will tee off at 11.45am UK time, with the field split into two groups.
Half will begin from the first tee, whilst the rest will start on the 10th.
Which TV channel can I watch it on?
YOU can catch all the action on Sky Sports Golf, which has been renamed Sky Sports US Open for the week.
Coverage begins at 1pm each day and runs until the close, whilst those with Sky Sports Main Event can also tune in from 4.30pm-12.30am.
