A TRANSGENDER beauty queen has slammed India Willoughby’s behaviour in the Celebrity Big Brother house and claims she is “setting the trans cause back ten years.”

Tiffany-Rose Davies, from Birmingham, claims she has been getting abuse in the street and been called a “freak” since transgender newsreader India went into CBB.

She said India has angered the LGBTQ community by claiming she is is “scared” of drag queens since learning Courtney Act was entering the house and having a huge bust-up with Andrew Brady after he dressed in drag.

But Tiffany, 26, says her “disgusting” views have caused a “backlash” against all trans people.

She told the Sun Online:  “I get called names because she has put us trans girls in such a bad light. “I’ve been called all the names under the sun, on the street, when I go for a coffee. I can’t believe they let someone like that in the house.

“I’ve been called a freak, a man in a dress, an abomination. I’ve been called all sorts – and that’s only been since she’s been in the house.

“I’ve been a trans girl since I was 13, and I’ve never had abuse like that.

“I’ve been very accepted in the area that I live in, in Birmingham, and I’ve even had abuse in my own area and it’s only since she’s been in the house. And she’s supposed to be making it easier for trans girls in there.

“She has basically taken us ten year back in time. We were making steps ahead in society.

“Trans people were getting there and getting accepted and now we’re back at square one again.”

Tiffany, who was born Niall Davies, has had several operations and is now six to 12 months from full transition.

She says she is feels let down by 51-year-old India – who started her career as Jonathan Willoughby and transitioned after quitting her job on local TV in 2010.

Tiffany said: “When she first went in there I was happy.

“I went ‘Yes! A famous trans girl in  there is going to make life easier’ but she’s made it harder for me and other trans girls.

“I can’t be the only one who has had sh** because of her.”

Tiffany said she was disgusted after India described men dressing as women to the racist Black and White Minstrel Show.

She said: “That is not a comparison.

“I think she’s saying stuff to get a reaction and I think she’s using the trans community to get to be famous.

“She‘s saying outrageous things but she’s bringing the drag community down to give herself more airtime but that’s not what I want trans girls to be portrayed as.

“We’re liberal. I believe everyone should be who they want and I would love to see her embrace Courtney.

“Her views are disgusting. I would like her to be more open-minded.

“Courtney’s an entertainer, who dresses that way for entertainment, but he’s a male. “India is a transgender straight female and she’s saying drag is a mockery of trans.  But it’s completely different.

“She seems quite uneducated about it and if a straight non-trans woman went in and said something like that, they’d be thrown out. She doesn’t deserve a place in the house. It’s discrimination.

“In the LGBTQ community, we’ve already got stigma so in our community we all need to stick together – whether you are gay, lesbian or trans – but I find her outlook frustrating.

“She’s playing the victim but we’re not victims. We want to be part of society and be accepted.

“She’s literally sabotaging the trans community. It’s ridiculous what she’s doing.”
