A THE Undateables star who measures just 4ft 7 has said she has big plans despite her small stature.
Becky Dann, 23, originally from Cambridgeshire, has scoliosis so severe that it affects her height – and her spine is so contorted that she can’t have surgery to fix it.

After being diagnosed with scoliosis aged four, she was made to wear a brace that she called her “scaffolding” but, by the time she started high school she began to lose feeling in her legs and she needed to use a wheelchair.
Her mum was told by doctors that her daughter would never walk again.
Becky said: “She didn’t tell me that. She took me to every specialist and in time, I was able to strengthen my back and walk again.”
“But it’s okay – I’ve finished a degree in photography, I’ve moved to London.

“Before moving to London, I lived in a small town.
“For four years I went on so many first dates and always to the same pub.
“People must have looked at me; out with a different first date every time, thinking, there she goes again.
“I’ve never had a relationship before, I’ve dated – but nothing has ever amounted to anything.
“I find that people are quite judgemental about my disability; especially with dating apps and things like that it’s based on looks – if somebody sees a disability, a lot of the time, they’ll just ignore it [the profile].
“I’ve never really got past the second date, a lot of the time I’ve found that they’ll just disappear with no explanation.
“I’ve had people be quite rude before and sort of say ‘I can’t handle the disability’ – which is ridiculous.

“My ideal type would be someone who is open-minded, someone who is quite chatty and someone who just likes me for me.”
Now, defiant Becky, who admits to finding the dating scene “extremely nerve wracking” will feature on Channel 4’s The Undateables to try and track down her perfect man – and she says she has a lot of love to give.
She added: “I decided to go on the new series of The Undateables to find confidence.
“It is always something I’ve been interested in; I’ve watched it since the first series.
Phoenix Feautures Becky studied photography at Uni and has moved to London for Farnham, Surrey Phoenix Feautures Becky will watch the show on Monday with her friends – who have all been supportive of her decision to go on the show
“As I’m getting older, and all of my friends have gotten into relationships and I’m still struggling, I thought it was a good opportunity – as well as a great platform for awareness.
“The production team were so patient and friendly I relaxed and the more we filmed, the more chatty I felt.
“The experience has given me such a boost – I’ve deleted all my apps!
“I’ve watched it back and I’m going to have some friends over to watch it with me when it airs.
“If someone was thinking about going on the show I would say go for it!
“It’s such an amazing experience and it helps your confidence so much.
“I might be shorter than most people and have an impairment but I want the same things as the next person.
“But there’s one more thing I want – I want people with disabilities to be treated the same as everyone else.
“I might be small but I’ve got a big heart.”
The new series of The Undateables starts on Monday January 8 on Channel 4 at 9pm.
