SPOTIFY users can now buy the make-up their favourite stars wear, in a groundbreaking move for the music streaming service.
For the first time ever, the app will allow users to buy beauty products through a singer’s artist page – that of up-and-coming star Maggie Lindemann.

Beauty brand Pat McGrath Labs started selling on Spotify earlier today, in a partnership with Maggie and her new single Obsessed – which is out on Friday.
To buy her favourite products, shoppers simply go onto the artist’s page – and below the Popular section of top songs you’ll see a Merch button.
The make-up on offer will be listed under here. In Maggie’s case, it’s the new LiquiLUST lipstick collection – and a few other Pat McGrath favourites.
Countless musicians are already connected to make-up brands, meaning the possibilities for this to be rolled out are pretty huge.

World renowned make-up artist Pat, who has been described by Vogue as one of the most influential women in the beauty industry, said: “Beauty, fashion and music have been intrinsically linked since the 1960s.
“In this digitally-empowered, digital era of make-up, where fans crave instant glamour gratification I always want to reach fans where they’re most engaged.
“That’s why this relationship with Spotify is absolutely major, because it merges beauty and music in a whole new way, that’s never been done before. I’m thrilled to see it finally come to life.”

The launch of Pat McGrath Labs x Maggie Lindemann on Spotify marks the first time music fans can buy make-up in this way.
The products will be sold through Merchbar – who have been offering Spotify’s 140 million subscribers the chance to buy merchandise like T-shirts and vinyls since 2016.
Shoppers can now buy a range of lip pencils (£19.05), eyeshadow palettes, eye pencils (£19.05) and Liquidlust 007 lipstick/lip gloss singles (£16.76).
