SIMON Cowell's return to the X Factor tonight is in doubt following his horror fall at his home.
The music mogul fell down the stairs at his London mansion on Friday after a mystery collapse and was forced to miss last night's first live show.

There had been hope Simon, 58, would be well enough to return to the ITV show tonight, but an insider has now claimed it doesn't look likely.
The source told the Mirror Online: "The decision is not 100 per cent yet but it's very likely he'll sit out this one on doctor's advice."
"Alesha Dixon is ready to step in as a substitute judge if necessary."
The Britain's Got Talent judge has already appeared on this year's series having stood in for judges Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger during the audition stages.

Meanwhile the star's doctor was seen arriving at his home today, giving the cameras a smile as he made his way inside.
Simon's category the groups are set to go head to head with Nicole's Overs, after the running order was switched around to accommodate Simon's absence last night.
Instead, the Boys and Girls categories sang for survival – having originally been set to perform tonight – and Spencer Sutherland became the first person to leave the competition.

Earlier today, The Sun on Sunday revealed Simon is in constant pain after his accident and has been warned by doctors that he could collapse again.
He underwent a series of tests in hospital but docs are still unsure what caused him to faint on Friday morning.

They advised him to rest until next week — warning the lights and heat in the ITV studio may trigger a relapse.
A source close to him said: “Simon is suffering bad pains in his neck, and is still very shaken.
