A RARE white elk which found fame after starring in a viral video faces being shot after it charged at a woman in Sweden.
Authorities have said the powerful beast – known locally as Ferdinand – struck while the woman was out walking her dogs.

However, nature photographer Ingemar Petersson said “There is a lot of pressure on the area, and many photographers have behaved badly, but the elk is not aggressive.”
