A PARAMEDIC had an affair with a patient after she sang You Sexy Thing to him in the back of his ambulance.
Darrel Dimond could not resist her rendition of the Hot Chocolate disco classic and kissed her passionately.

They swapped numbers and he later drove to her home for a two-hour sex session while the ambulance was parked outside.
They went on to exchange flirty texts and pictures, including one of her on all fours and another in her underwear.
Dimond replied to her in a message: “You’re very pretty — too many clothes though.”
He also told her: “I like your chest, that’s probs my favourite bit — your chest and neck xx.”

The details emerged at a disciplinary panel hearing where Dimond was accused of having sex with a vulnerable patient.
The pair met when he treated her for a seizure.
He claimed he only went to her house to retrieve lost equipment but the patient told the Health and Care Professions Council hearing: “He came to the house and we had sex.”
Before his laptop was taken by investigators, Dimond, who worked for South Central Ambulance Services in Basingstoke, Hants, tried to delete emails he had sent the woman.
Stephen Ferson, for the tribunal service, told the panel in Kennington, South East London: “His acceptance of his shortcomings has been very limited and there will be a real risk of repetition.”
