Paddy Mcguinness Hugs Tearful Wife Christine After Showdown Talks About The Future Of Their Marriage

The couple, who have been married for nearly seven years and have three children together, left their family home in separate cars.

After stopping at a scenic spot nearby, Christine sat in Paddy’s car and they talked for an hour before the model got out of the vehicle looking tearful.

Following her, Paddy put her hand on his wife’s shoulder before pulling her into a hug, showing he is still wearing his wedding ring.

A source close to the couple said: “It’s clearly a very emotional time for both of them. They obviously have a lot to talk through to decide how they both feel about the situation.

“Those who know them hope they can work through things, because they’re a lovely couple with wonderful children – but sometimes things just don’t work out.”

Paddy returned home this morning for crisis talks but the star remains in the ‘dog house’ with her.

A friend of the star told The Sun Online: “Paddy’s back at home with Christine right now. He’s in the doghouse but he’s got to face the music.

“It’s a slightly awkward reunion, especially as it’s Valentine’s Day tomorrow.”

His return home comes as Nicole fled her home at night with a suitcase following the fallout of the images of her and Paddy.

The presenter, 44, and Nicole, 43, were pictured linking arms during a boozy night out in London on Friday, while Paddy’s wife remained at their home 200 miles away in the North West with their three children.

Paddy had looked startled when he realised a photographer had spotted him and the singer.

Minutes earlier the pair had spilled out on to a street of bars and restaurants, blending in with other revellers.

After the images emerged, Paddy was seen looking downcast as he remained in London, while back up North his distraught wife Christine, 29, was seen sobbing at the wheel of her car.

Following their night out in Soho, Paddy and Nicole have unfollowed each other on Insta, while Paddy has also unfollowed Nicole on Twitter.

Nicole had liked several pictures of Paddy with his shirt off, as well as pictures of the TV hunk suited and booted ready for a night out.

What is Marcella and who does Anna Friel play?

That case involved a serial killer who put plastic bags over the heads of everyone he or she murdered.

The first series also dealt with the breakdown of Marcella’s marriage, and how this affected her son Edward.

One of the shocking opening scenes showed Anna sitting in a bath filled with blood, though this was never resolved, leaving viewers confused and annoyed.

Downton Abbey’s Laura Carmichael and Corrie’s Ian Puleston-Davies had major roles in the first series.

Where did Susanna start her career?

After leaving University, Susanna began her career at BBC Radio Bristol and then became a reporter for Radio 5 Live, as well as a producer before joining BBC News 24, where she spent two years as a reporter.

When the 11pm presenter didn’t turn up one night, Susanna became a stand-in presenter for an hour (while three months pregnant with her first child), which turned into a permanent position.

Before going on maternity leave, she presented on the BBC’s online interactive service and then became a reporter for Breakfast News in 1998.

After a second maternity break, she became a presenter on the BBC News Channel.

From 2003 Susanna became one of the main presenters on BBC Breakfast, presenting with Bill Turnbull on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and previously presenting with Charlie Stayt on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

In 2010, Reid stepped down from presenting Breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays to take a role on a new programme Sunday Morning Live.

Was Susanna Reid on Strictly Come Dancing?

In December 2013, Susanna was a runner-up in the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing with partner Kevin Clifton.

She lost out on taking the glitterball trophy to model Abbey Clancy.

She previously participated in the Children in Need special of the show, pairing with Robin Windsor and eventually winning it in November 2011.

Has Susanna Reid worked as an actress?

How long has Susanna Reid presented Good Morning Britain?

In February 2014, it was reported that ITV were attempting to recruit Susanna for their new breakfast programme, with a £1 million salary.

Susanna had previously rejected claims of moving to ITV in December 2013, during her Strictly Come Dancing stint, claiming she would “bleed BBC” if cut open.

But On 3 March 2014 the BBC confirmed her move to ITV to front rival breakfast programme Good Morning Britain, which replaced its former show Daybreak.

She now co-hosts the show alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard every Monday to Thursday from 6:00am to 8:30am.

She earns an annual salary of £500,000 a year for GMB.

Does Susanna Reid like Piers Morgan?

Viewers often kept entertained by Susanna and Piers relationship as they are rather partial to making fun of each other, and both are quick-witted with good comebacks for one another.

Their relationship was recently picked up on by Sex In The City star Sarah Jessica Parker, who wanted to know how much they REALLY liked each other.

Susanna and Piers are known for their on-screen chemistry, with the ex newspaper man often making quips about her appearance and she frequently scolds him for his blunt, outspoken ways.

But she recently revealed that after the show she often goes home and cries although she didn’t make it clear why.

She also blamed her co-host for her above-normal blood pressure and said she should stop working with him.

And as she and Piers presented an award at the National Television Awards 2017, she gagged him with some black tape as they took to the stage.

What are Susanna Reid’s most controversial moment?

Flirting with David Cameron

One of Susanna’s most famous moments was when she was accused of flirting with the then Prime Minister David Cameron.

In March 2015 she whipped up a storm with her line of questioning and how she delivered them towards the PM during an interview.

Body language expert Judi James described the presenter as “outrageously flirty”, pointing to the way she put her thumb in her mouth and crossed her legs during the interview.

She told the MailOnline: “There’s the distracting leg display, the modest cut-off gesture with the arm but then the fist to chin gesture that evolves into a thumb in the mouth

“Her smile looks excited and her head dips coyly. If I were Sam Cam I would have been rushing in with a fire extinguisher.”

Then there was the mortifying moment on Good Morning Britain in September 2014 when Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens took her interview

question the wrong way.

Dan was appearing on the ITV breakfast show to promote his thriller film The Guest.

But he was left in a fit of laughter after Susanna used some unfortunate phrasing to ask him if he had to fight off competition from American actors to land the lead role.

She asked: “You play this apparent all-America hero and this is a big opportunity for you in Hollywood. You must have had to beat off a lot of American men to get this part?”

Dan immediately burst into giggles, but Susanna was oblivious and asked: “Why does that make you giggle? Did you not have to beat them off?”

The actor later took to Twitter to poke fun at Reid, dubbing the interview ‘The Great British Beat Off.”

Not enough leg

Fans were left disappointed when she didn’t show off her legs on her first day of GMB – as she was sat behind a desk.

Famed for endless pins, viewers wanted to see more leg and took to Twitter to vent their fury, with one saying: “Good Morning Britain they have Susanna Reid behind a desk!!”

Another added: “Really the best legs in the country stuck behind a desk! #turnovertv #gmb”

This viewer tweeted: “Why has ITV paid so much for [Susanna Reid] only to put her behind a desk? Its like buying a Ferrari and keeping it in the garage #gmb.”

PA:Press Association Viewers were cross when her legs were hidden behind a desk

She was with partner, and former sports correspondent, Dominic Cotton from 1998 until they separated in February 2014.
