MARK Carney was branded an “enemy of Brexit” yesterday for getting forecasts “consistently wrong” on our EU divorce.
Senior Tory MP Jacob Rees-Mogg blasted the Bank of England governor for issuing repeated statements “hostile to Brexit” and there was “no doubt” he was endangering the process.

Mr Carney warned during the referendum campaign that Britain would dip into a recession if voters backed Brexit.
And he said Brexit posed the single biggest risk to the UK’s financial stability.
But he was forced to make a humiliating backtrack earlier this year in the wake of Britain’s economy
outperforming doom-laden Brexit forecasts.
Mr Rees-Mogg told BBC Radio 5 Live: “Mark Carney has opposed Brexit the whole way through, and is an enemy of Brexit. There is no doubt about that. His statements have consistently been hostile to Brexit.”
