MANCHESTER UNITED’S hopes of landing Alex Sandro may have suffered a huge blow with the news his replacement at Juventus is facing six months on the sidelines.
Left-back Leonardo Spinazzola, 25, has just completed his second season loan at Atalanta from the Bianconeri.

Having impressed over the past 24 months, his return to the Allianz Arena was likely to allow Sandro, 27, to leave the club.
However, it has now been confirmed Spinazzola has torn the anterior cruciate ligament on his right knee and is expected to be out for around six months.
The news is a bitter blow to Juventus, but the knock-on effect could spell bad news for United, who had been hopeful of concluding a £50million deal for Sandro.
Kwadwo Asamoah, who has competed with the Brazilian at left-back for the majority of the campaign — and shone — is almost certain to leave.
