LOVE Island’s Alex George has been labelled “a bit of a player” after he allegedly sent a girl he met online pictures of his car and boasted about how much earned as a doctor.
The reality star, 27, who is competing on the current series of the show, never met the 23-year-old woman in person but is said to have tried to woo her by bragging about his life and bank balance.
ITV It is claimed Alex made brags to the girl after chatting on Bumble
She told the Daily Star: “I was really into it. He seemed super sweet because he was really into his job and he was working at Lewisham hospital in A&E, he was the person that was looking after pregnant women if they came into A&E, so I was really into that.
“He got a little bit cocky, he knew he had money, even though he wasn’t quite high up or anything… He was always sending me pictures of things that he thought would impress me, like his car and nights out with his friends.”
The pair apparently got talking on dating app Bumble last year and she said, at first, she was impressed by his work and thought he was “really sweet”.
At the time, she claims medical pro Alex was part way through a year-long programme of training as an A&E doctor and she thought that his work made him seem caring.

The female said she soon changed her mind when he sent her pictures of his material possessions and of himself and his pals on nights out.
She said: “I just wasn’t into it. When I stopped talking to him he didn’t try again, he was a typical player, I imagine he was talking to other girls at the time. I just didn’t like his vibe.”

Alex has also been accused of trying to use a girl “for sex” before “ghosting” her when she refused to sleep with him after a date.
A girl called Emma, who he met on Tinder in September 2016, slammed his “gentlemanly” persona and claims he is only on the show “for the money”.
ITV The girl said she was not impressed when he boasted
She told The Sun Online: “Soon after exchanging numbers and liking each other’s pictures on Instagram we decided to meet up.
“Alex came across really well on message and in real life he seemed like the dream – well spoken, smart and attractive, of course.
