Love Island Quotes 2018 – The Cast’s Most Memorable Lines So Far From ‘what’s Brexit?’ To ‘do You Like Chicken Dippers?’

LOVE Island series four has got off to a great start – and we’re already quoting the best lines.

Here’s the complete lowdown on the best one-liners to come out of the villa so far…

ITV Niall was #muggledoff in the lurch when Adam stole Kendall from him

Niall Aslam

When Niall had Kendall stolen from him by Adam he got a hilarious text to notify him of his new single status.

It said: “Niall, you are now single. At the end of the week all islanders will take part in a recoupling” and finished with #muggledoff #stillinthegame.

Muggledoff is a reference to the fact that Niall is a big Harry Potter fan (muggles are non magical people) and is a play on the popular Love Island saying “mugged off” ie. to be taken for a mug.

‘He’s Malfoy…Patronum hope your f***ing date goes s***’

When Niall was lamenting Kendall’s date with Adam he called him “Malfoy” after the Harry Potter villain.

The student from Coventry is such a big fan of the wizard franchise that he has a tattoo of Hermione’s wand on his arm.

But he didn’t get the spell right which enraged some Twitter users – one wrote: “Do a patronum… at least if you’re gonna make a claim on national TV that you’re a super fan of something then make sure your #HarryPotter references are right.”

“I’m like, the rainbow fish”

Niall performed a deep monologue in the beach hut in which he sounded like he was trippin.

He said: “I’m, like, the rainbow fish…I need, like, a female fish to come and unravel my rainbow colours.”

“Do you like chicken dippers?”

When Niall went on a date with Georgia she said she was a student to which he replied “do you like chicken dippers?”

She replied “yes” which gave him the queue to go in for a cheeky kiss.

“Adam’s great. I just love how he’s embracing that he’s an oily big snake just snaking everyone.”

Niall had Kendall stolen off him by Adam when he arrived in the villa on Day 2 – but now he’s coupled with Georgia so there’s no hard feelings.

But his reaction to Adam then DUMPING Kendall for new girl Rosie was priceless – looks like he’s a Slytherin.

Wes Nelson

“We’re on Love Island not loyalty island”

Wes made his intentions clear about the new arrivals Georgia and Rosie.

While Alex speculated that one of the new girls might be his future wife, Wes failed to pledge his loyalty to Laura saying, “we’re on Love Island, not loyalty island.”

Dani Dyer

‘Maybe I’m a Banana’

The internet has already been flooded with memes poking fun at how Danny Dyer would sort out any lad who hurt his daughter.

Adam thought it was best to stay clear of Dani because of her famous dad and ruled her out straight away which led to this hilarious exchange…

Adam: “You’re the forbidden fruit.”

Dani: “Maybe I’m a banana.”

“Look at Harry and Meghan, they were unexpected”

Dani cracked another one liner while discussing her doubts about Jack – and compared her quest for love to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship!

She said “I just don’t get butterflies around him…look at Harry and Meghan, they were unexpected. And they didn’t force it.”

“We had a kiss and I felt like we’d just got married…like when Meghan walked down the aisle.”

Jack and Dani have had a bit of a rocky start but now seem to be smitten with each other.

It seems Dani still aspires for them to be the next Meghan and Harry – is Jack, the stationery salesman the prince of pencils?

ITV2 Hayley having a deep chat with Eyal

Hayley Hughes

‘What does superficial mean?’

When Eyal was explaining why he picked Hayley to couple up with he described his ideal woman as someone with “a bit of depth who isn’t too superficial”.

Hayley replied: “What does superficial mean?”

She then also struggled to pronounce his name even after he repeated it several times.

“What’s Brexit?”

The chat got political in the villa when the following exchange took place…

Gerogia: What do you think about Brexit?

Hayley: What’s that?

At the mention of “cutting down” on “welfare and stuff” as a result of leaving the EU, Hayley replied “so does that mean we won’t have any trees?” – ignorance is bliss.

“What’s an aura?”

Hayley and Eyal have failed to kick it off but their relationship suffered another knock when he tried to get all spiritual.

Unfortunately Hayley seems to have a bit of an aura of negativity.

“I think being in here has made me a bit wiser”

No explanation needed.

See quotes above.

“He was just too deep for me asking like ‘what’s your favourite animal’?”

Hayley’s explanation to new boy Josh about why things didn’t go so well with Eyal left viewers scratching their heads.

“He was just too deep for me asking like ‘what’s your favourite animal’?”

“What’s an earlobe?”

Hayley has clearly been struggling throughout the series and her latest gaffe left her admitting she’s also a bit clueless when it comes to anatomy.

As the group take it in turns during a game of dares, Hayley is asked to lick Adam Collard’s earlobe but she looks completely blank.

She smiles and asks the ground: “What’s an earlobe?” leaving some of the group stunned.
