LOOSE Women fans took to social media in their droves today to praise an “inspiring” young woman who conquered a debilitating stammer.
Appearing on the show Jessica Davies told the panel about her dramatic journey to conquer her speech impediment and how she was now finally able to have her dream wedding.
Jessica Davies told the Loose Women panel how she wanted to show people who she was and that she has a voice
Jessica joined the panel ahead of her debut on new TV show School for Stammerers and the beauty blogger revealed the impact it had had on her life.
“My life has not been how I wanted to live it,” she told the group. “I’ve always been this shy girl and I’ve never been talkative…. the course has changed my life.”
Jessica explained her motivation for going on the show, saying: “I wanted to show people who I am. I have a voice.”
And, thanks to her coach, the YouTuber has now been able to plan her dream wedding to her fiance.

She told the panel she had now set a date, saying: “I think everyone [her guests] will be so pleased to hear me say my vows without my stammer!”
Jessica’s mum Debbie also appeared on the show and revealed her daughter hadn’t been able to speak till she was four years old.
Explaining the reality behind her daughter’s stammer through tears, she said: “Jessica used to pull her hair and punch herself in frustration.”
Jessica’s story touched viewers at home and they flooded social media with messages of support.
