When is the London Marathon 2019?

A date is yet to be set for the London Marathon 2019.

However, the race generally takes place towards the end of April on a Sunday.

This means that April 21 and April 28 look like the most likely dates.

How can I apply for the London Marathon 2019?

The ballot for the 2019 marathon isn’t open yet, but it will be in early May, a couple of weeks after this year’s race.

You are given five days to decide whether you want to take the plunge (or convince yourself to go through it all again), with the ballot for this year’s race lasting from May 1-5.

It’s a random draw, and entrants have to be at least 18 years old on the day of the race.

Applicants don’t find out until early October, giving you five months to consider the decision – you’ll only have to pay the entry fee once you receive a place.

You can also get in on the act by running for a charity, but there are only limited places and to secure a place you must approach the charity to see if they have space.

People can also qualify through the ‘Good For Age Entry’ where you must have run a full marathon in the same time or quicker than the times for certain age brackets.

Her Majesty will be beamed out on big screen across the race’s three starting points in Greenwich Park.

The race will be broadcast on BBC One from 8.30am until 2.00pm, with highlights on BBC Two at 6.00pm.

The “Living Legend” was WWE’s longest reigning champion ever, holding the belt for a combined total of 12 years. He was also at odds with the company for decades afterwards.

After leaving WWE in the late 1980s, Bruno became an outspoken critic of the direction Vince McMahon had taken his beloved sport.

He labeled the product as “garbage” and slammed steroid use, Hulk Hogan, and the Attitude Era – especially its top star Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Bruno said: “I didn’t care for him because of his mouth. He was a very, very vulgar individual.”

Sammartino was known for his integrity and as a defender of wholesome values – it was no surprise that he hated WWE’s then-ultra profane and sexualised product.

He refused a Hall of Fame for several years, saying it would be “hypocritical” of him to accept.

FOOTY legend Ian Wright hit out after learning that a lock-up full of his playing memorabilia was being sold off by a mystery US buyer for £7million.

Around 500 of Wrighty’s mementos – including 35 trophies and awards – are now up for sale on a website for the multi-million pound sum, after being bought by an anonymous American seller.

The former Arsenal striker was alerted by The Sun to the online sale – which even includes a signed ‘185’ shirt given to the prolific marksman after he became the club’s record scorer.

He said: “It’s a sad situation when you have been trying for so long to get your memorabilia back and then find out it’s turned up in a lock-up in America which has now been repossessed.

“It’s just really sad that it has come to this.”

Deborah – wed to Wright from 1993 until they divorced in 2004 – is thought to have rented the lock-up in Orlando after their split.

It’s unclear whose care it fell into later and what happened to payments but it ended up with a Storage Hunters-style auction of the contents after payments were missed or went astray.

A fan bought the memorabilia at auction, then flogged it on US classified ads website Craigslist to a mystery second buyer.

The American – who wants to remain anonymous – has now put the items up for sale on a website called ‘’.

He told The Sun: “I searched all of America looking for soccer jerseys to buy and I came across the picture of the framed ‘Thank You 185 jersey’ which caught my eye.

“The guy who was selling it said he bought storage units for a living and one of the recent auctions he went to they were auctioning off Ian Wright’s ex-wife’s unit.

“She apparently had four storage units. He ended up buying two of her units and inside one there was all of this memorabilia.”

The collection has 35 of Wright’s trophies, including Goal of the Month, an Adidas Golden Boot, an FA Premier League Hall of Fame Trophy and Premier League Player of the Month awards.
