JOZY ALTIDORE has taken a swipe at US president Donald Trump with a tongue-in-cheek tweet, alongside Usain Bolt and ice hockey star PK Subban.

Ex-Sunderland star Altidore, of Haitian descent, hit back at Trump who recently caused a storm with his insensitive comments.

Trump allegedly claimed: “Why are we having all these people from s***hole countries come here?”, according to the Washington Post.

The president was said to be talking about curbing immigration, slashing the visa lottery in half – most notably involving countries such as Haiti and El Salvador – as well as Africa.

Again according to the Washington Post, Trump allegedly claimed: “Why do we need more Haitians? Take them out.”

However, Trump took to Twitter to claim: "Never said anything derogatory about Haitians other than Haiti is, obviously, a very poor and troubled country.

"Never said 'take them out.' Made up by Dems.

"I have a wonderful relationship with Haitians. Probably should record future meetings – unfortunately, no trust!"

However, in light of the recent controversy, US footballer and son of Haitian immigrants, Altidore made a stand of his own.

He was snapped in a pic alongside sprinting legend Bolt and NHL ace Subban, which he captioned: "Just three s***hole dudes living the dream."
