HE’S dressed some of the biggest names in Hollywood, and now “The Bum Man” Roland Mouret is tipped to be designing Meghan Markle’s second wedding gown.
The French fashion designer, 56, has created some of the most iconic womenswear collections, including the infamous Galaxy dress.

And it just so happens he’s bosom pals with Prince Harry’s American fiancée.
Earlier this year he told the New York Post: “Meghan knows really well what she likes and the main thing with Meghan is to listen to her and work in collaboration with her,” adding: “I’ve already said too much.”
While he’s not rumoured to have designed her main gown (that honour, we believe, has gone to London-based couture house Ralph & Russo), word on the street is that Meghan, like Kate Middleton, will have two dresses for her big day.
Mouret’s Galaxy dress , which launched in 2005, was seen on a string of high profile celebs, from Victoria Beckham to Scarlett Johansson, Halle Berry and Nicole Kidman.

Its block colours, conservative neckline, capped sleeves, fitted waist and just above the knee cut made it an instant hit with dozens of high street copies quick to hit the shelves.
Mouret told The Times: “Women had control of the Galaxy. It was a dress that would disappear, that would reveal them.”
He added: “My technique is copied all over the world. I wish the laws in fashion were the same as the laws in music. I would be rich.”
Following the Galaxy’s success, he’s since designed the Eugene, a similarly classic, draped, sleeveless top which reveals just enough flesh at the back to be sexy.

Michelle Obama also sported a pair of his black trousers while appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres show.
Mouret is certainly not lacking in confidence about his creations.
“You cannot have a bad picture taken in my clothes,” he said. “You are protected 360 degrees.”
Perhaps that’s why Suits actress Meghan, 36, has (potentially) picked one of his dresses for the evening reception, to which 200 guests are invited.

He also acknowledges that he is “all about the bum” – meaning Meghan won’t be out-shined like her future sister-in-law, Kate, was by Pippa Middleton.
When quizzed if he is providing the gown, he replied with a nervous giggle: “My answer means… not now.
“I can’t talk about it. She’s a friend. And I promised her that our friendship is the most important thing.”
Time will tell – in three days (not that we’re counting… well actually, we are).
