It’s perhaps no surprise that original cast members such as Spencer Matthews and Millie Mackintosh have gone on to rake in millions of pounds – giving them bulging purse strings to rival their trust funds.

RAINBOWS are caused when the sun is refracted through rain, but what happens when it is snowing?

A spectacular snowbow has been captured on camera following the UK’s recent snowfall – but what causes the natural occurence?

What is a snowbow? What causes it?

The rare phenomenon takes place when the sunlight is refracted through the snowflakes in air.

Technically it is actually still a rainbow because the light must pass through water droplets in the air and then split to form the spectrum.

A snowbow only happens when the sun is low and it is snowing, which is rare in the UK.

Often this will be when it is snowing at either sunrise or sunset.

Met Office forecaster Craig Snell confirmed that it is unusual in the UK to have a combination of low sun with falling snow.

Where have snowbows been seen in the UK?

The stunning sight was captured over the Derbyshire Peak District.

The images were taken at the summit of Mam Tor, near Castleton on December 17.

And the rising sun made the scene even more breathtaking, as it gave the pink colour tone to the rainbow.

What is Mo Farah’s diet, how many calories does he eat and how many does he burn in a race?

HOURS after Mo Farah picked up his Sports Personality of the Year award, we look at what the champion runner eats and drinks,

The Olympic champion was the face of Quorn for three years, but it turns out he eats all sorts of things – not only veggie sausages.

What has Mo Farah said about his diet?

In 2016, Mo told BBC Good Food that his diet is “dull and tasteless”.

He said: “I get incredibly bored, who wouldn’t? But it’s the price you pay for this sporting life.

“I need my sugar fix from time to time – some chocolate will usually give me the variation I need, but I’m so used to the whole diet thing now at this stage, it no longer bothers me.

“It’s pretty much as dull and tasteless as you can expect!”

He also said that he can’t drink Coke or Sprite, but his trainer manages to make other tasty drinks for him.

“My trainer concocts this sugary, protein water-based drink that manages to stop the fluid from being completely sweated out,” he said.

“For an athlete, fizzy drinks are a strict no-no, and water obviously is the most natural thing you can have, but it leaves your body too quickly and there are isotonic drinks that are better for you.”

He added that his favourite meal is a good old fashioned burger, which sadly are a rare treat because of his focused training schedule.

What does Mo Farah eat?

The sporting hero told BBC Good Food that this is what a typical day’s meal plan looks like when training for a big race or event like the Olympics

Breakfast (7am):
Breakfast was coffee and cereal, normally Frosties, as I really like them -probably a little too much! However they gave me my much needed sugar rush to get me through the early part of each day.

Lunch (12pm):
I’m not really a big eater of large meals – more several small little plates during the day. But if I had a lunch, it tended to be pasta, steamed vegetables and grilled chicken.

Dinner (8pm):
Dinner would be the same again – pasta, steamed vegetables and grilled chicken. I realise it doesn’t sound too exciting, but for someone doing my pursuit it was absolutely the right thing to eat. It’s an exciting life I lead!

Why is Mo Farah associated with Quorn?

Until January this year, Mo was the face of Quorn and starred in several TV adverts for the meat replacement brand.

Marketing magazine The Drum claimed his three years working with the brand helped boost sales by 17 per cent.

PRINCESS Charlotte is heading to nursery school from January 2018.

But where is the pint-size royal going, and how much does it cost to send your kids there? Here’s all you need to know…

Where is Princess Charlotte going to nursery? When does she start there?

It has been announced that Princess Charlotte, two, will be joining classes at the Willcocks Nursery School in London from January.

The nursey has an “outstanding” rating by Ofsted, thanks to the “staff’s meticulous planning skills in ensuring children’s individual learning needs are met”.

It has an all-female staff and is run by Lavinia Taylor, who has been headmistress since September 2009.

The school’s ethos is ethos is “for high standards, excellence and good manners”.

How much does it cost to send your kids to Willcocks Nursery School in Kensington?

Of course it doesn’t come cheap to send your youngsters to the posh nursey.

The morning school, which it runs for 32 youngsters for three hours a day for five weeks, costs £3,050 a term.

The afternoon school has fees of £1,800 per term and is less structured than the morning session but provides a similar wide range of activities including art and music.

It is aimed at younger children, aged two to three years old, and is run three days a week.

Fees can cost up to £14,550 each year if your child goes for a full-day.

But it appears that you get your money’s worth, based on the glowing Ofsted report.

It said: “The organisation of the time that children attend is exceptional. As a result, no time is wasted and children enjoy a productive learning experience.”

Tatler called the nursery a “hidden gem” that “flies under the radar”.

The school offers pottery and poetry classes, and part of the induction includes a short “stay and play” session where pupils are asked to bring a toy or photo in to show from home.

Meanwhile the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have opted to send their first born Prince George to the rather posh south London school St Thomas’s of Battersea, which costs £17,000-a-year.
