Cooper blasted: "I'm very angry with Christian. He dived twice in the box.
"Nobody is near him and he's chosen to fall on the floor when he had chance to score his 18th and 19th goals."
Doidge escaped a booking but team-mate Reuben Reid was shown a yellow card for protesting the second appeal in the 87th minute.
Luke Norris scored nine minutes earlier to send Forest Green into the drop zone.

And there was further misery for the visitors as defender Farrend Rawson was hospitalised after being knocked out in the first half.
Cooper was incredibly sent to the stands at home to Wycombe for protesting the red card shown to his SON.
And the outspoken Wakefield-born manager made headlines in 2016 when he admitted to "falling asleep three times" during his side's 3-0 win at North Ferriby United.
He said: "It’s the worst game of football I’ve ever seen I think."
