A FAKE trailer for a movie version of Friends sees the gang struggling with real life well in to middle age.

The film – The One With The Reunion – shows the six New York 20-somethings all grown up and reconnecting after losing touch for several years… and their lives have definitely taken unusual paths.

Rachel and Monica still rely on each other for emotional supportYOUTUBE Rachel and Monica still rely on each other for emotional support

In the clip, which is made from edited bits of movies and TV shows the cast have made since it ended in 2004, the gang can be seen getting reacquainted after years apart.

The film trailer seems to hint that just like in the show, the film’s plot would centre on Monica Gellar and Chandler Bing, showing them having an awkward row in a car park.

Monica – the germaphobe made famous by Courtney Cox, 53 – is still best friends with Rachel Green, who has now become a therapist.

There is plenty of footage of the two of them in the clip, which is mostly due to the real life friendship between Courtney and Jennifer Aniston, 48.

Courtney invited Jen to guest star in several episodes of her series Cougar Town, which ran until 2015.

The footage of Monica and Chandler’s surprise reunion was also taken from the show after she asked Matthew Perry, 48, to appear on the programme.

Dopey Phoebe Buffay – played by Lisa Kudrow, 54 – has switched busking and making coffee for a new career as a doctor.

Equally dopey Joey Tribbiani – played by Matt LeBlanc, 50 – is now a successful actor, and can be seen bumping in to old pass Ross Gellar at a glamorous party where he is wearing traditional Indian clothing.

Joey also has trouble with the police, and Ross – David Schwimmer, 51 – seems to have swapped digging up dinosaurs for a new life in politics.

Fans went wild for the trailer, with many people unaware that it was a spoof.

One tweeted: “If this new FRIENDS movie is real & they’re tryna tell me Chandler & Monica broke up & Ross & Rachel broke up & Phoebe is a doctor I ain’t watching it.”

Another said: “Finding out that they made a ‘Friends’ movie and then finding out it was a hoax within the course of 3 minutes was not the way I wanted to wake up today, I’m going to be emotionally unavailable for a week now.”

Sadly a real movie is unlikely – and not only as the stars and creators are busy with other projects.

Last year Jennifer Aniston told the Huffington Post that the show simply wouldn’t work in the modern world.

She said: “We were jokingly saying that if Friends was created today, you would have a coffee shop full of people that were just staring into iPhones. There would be no actual episodes or conversations.”

Ex-Towie star Sam Faiers, 27, on her baby Rosie, brelfies and why she had to move her family out of Essex

WHEN Sam Faiers left Essex last year, breaking away from the county she both grew up in and made her name off the back of, it clearly marked the end of one life and the beginning of something new.

After selling her Brentwood home, she and partner Paul Knightley hot-footed it over to neighbouring Hertfordshire, and so far Sam has no regrets about the move.

Sam Faiers shows off baby Rosie for the first time Sam Faiers shows off baby Rosie for the first time

“I wanted a fresh start,” the 27 year old says.

“When you’ve lived somewhere forever, you know nothing’s going to change.

“I didn’t want to go too far because my family is still there, but we’d both grown up there and thought as a family, let’s start afresh. We love it.”

She’s particularly enjoying no longer living in the Essex bubble, where everyone knows your business and it’s not uncommon to find the minutiae of your life the subject of local chatter.

The former Towie star left Essex last year, the place she made her name The former Towie star left Essex last year, the place she made her name

“My children are my priority, not the gossip of what’s going on around me, and once you’re out of that it’s so much nicer. It makes you a better person. I feel so much more grown-up.

“We’ve been getting to know new people, making new friends and making a new life for ourselves.”

She’s working differently, too. Today is her first photo shoot in nearly two years, having made a conscious decision to rein in her media appearances.

When daughter Rosie was born 10 weeks ago there were no exclusive magazine deals, and Sam, who spent four years on Towie before quitting in 2014, says it has been liberating.

“I wanted to take some time out and just do things my way. I prefer using social media to show my family in the way I want to.

The 27-year-old says she has no regrets about moving to Hertfordshire The 27-year-old says she has no regrets about moving to Hertfordshire

“I remember when I did my exclusive [photo shoot] after Baby Paul [now two] was born, and while it’s lovely to have the images, I couldn’t be pictured before or after it came out for a few weeks.

“It’s already overwhelming enough having a baby without stressing about losing your [magazine] deal because you’ve popped to the shops.

“I just felt a bit under pressure with everything. With Rosie, I wanted to do it how I wanted to, on my own terms, and that’s been really nice this time.”

The shift in direction also apparently means certain subjects are off the agenda. Before we meet, it’s politely requested by management that we steer clear of any Towie-related questions (as it happens, we ask anyway and she’s happy to answer. Go figure).

Sam was on Towie for four years before quitting in 2014 Sam was on Towie for four years before quitting in 2014

And then during the interview itself, a simple query about rumoured ex-BFF Ferne McCann is immediately shut down by her people.

Sam’s not going there – not even to clarify the recent reports that she’s been upset about new mum Ferne securing a very similar show to her own ITVBe reality series The Mummy Diaries.

There were also whispers that Sam deliberately timed the announcement of Rosie’s name to coincide with the launch of Ferne’s show First Time Mum in order to steal back the limelight.

For what it’s worth – and from what we know of Sam having shot her four times for the Fabulous cover – this seems unlikely.

Sam Faiers melts fans’ hearts with video of son Paul kissing his baby sister

She’s genuinely sweet, and spite isn’t in her nature, but it might have been better to hear a straight denial from the horse’s mouth.

One thing she is happy to talk about is motherhood, and it’s here that Sam has undoubtedly found her niche, with more than 3 million followers on social media who love her daily updates on parenting and family life.

As we chat, she breastfeeds baby Rosie while the two Pauls (she refers to them as Big Paul and Baby Paul) play football at the other side of the studio.

The family do everything and go everywhere together. Sam and Paul launched their All Bits London online fashion business together last year, which he now works on full time, and it means they are with each other 24/7.

It’s an arrangement her sister Billie, 28, finds baffling, but Sam says it works for them.

“Billie said the other day she couldn’t understand how we do it because we’re literally never apart.

But we don’t argue. I think we’re so compatible and we talk a lot and understand each other. We’re both very chilled people – we don’t get wound up by stuff.

“Maybe the fact he doesn’t drink is a good thing, because he’s never fussed about going out. He might go out for dinner with friends, but he’s not a pub man. We’re not doing anything to make it like this, but it just works.

Same is happy to talk about motherhood and has found her niche talking about parenting and family life through social media Same is happy to talk about motherhood and has found her niche talking about parenting and family life through social media

“I’m not exactly an attachment parent, but I’ve never had a nanny and Baby Paul doesn’t go to nursery. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

“People say: ‘Oh, you need a break,’ or: ‘You and Paul need some alone time…’ And I do get where they’re coming from. But I don’t think we need it as a family.

“We do what we do because we enjoy it. There’s nothing I’d do differently.”

She certainly looks like she’s got the whole thing licked. After coming through the first few emotional weeks, which Sam describes as a “shock to the system – I had a week where I couldn’t stop crying”, they’ve all settled into the new family-of-four set-up.

Sam says her baby Paul doesn't go to a nursery and she has never had a nannyInstagram Sam says her baby Paul doesn’t go to a nursery and she has never had a nanny

And this time, Sam finally got the home birth she missed out on with Baby Paul when she had to be transferred to hospital following complications.

“It was so calm and lovely and everything was exactly as I’d wished for the first time,” she says.

“I had all my family there. Baby Paul came in as soon as she was on my chest. The labour was only about four hours in total, and within an hour I was back in my bed watching The X Factor. I’d so recommend home birth – if you’re low-risk, go for it.”

Is there anything she’s learned that will help the second time around?

“I’m so much more confident with breastfeeding, getting out the house and going to classes with the kids, it’s all like second nature.

“One thing I think I’ll change is going with the flow a lot more. That’s something I’ve learned massively – just to follow the rhythm of your baby.

“I co-slept with Baby Paul, but after a few months I was trying to get him into a sleep pattern and into his own cot, and I honestly don’t think I’ll bother this time.

“I’m just going to carry on co-sleeping until I feel like she’s ready to sleep on her own. I’m not going to put any stress on myself.

Sam recommends a home birth if you are low-riskInstagram Sam recommends a home birth if you are low-risk

“She’s actually been sleeping lovely. I post on Instagram and people say: ‘How do you look like that with no sleep?’ But actually I am sleeping!

“I love co-sleeping, seeing their little faces in the morning. It’s for such a short period of time.

They’re only really babies for a year. If you’re comfortable with it as a parent, it’s the most precious time.”

Like with Baby Paul, who she breastfed for 15 months, Sam is exclusively breastfeeding Rosie and continues to be a passionate advocate, despite the stick she gets every time she posts a “brelfie” on social media.

Sam says she still gets plenty of sleep even though she has her new-born RosieInstagram Sam says she still gets plenty of sleep even though she has her new-born Rosie

“I don’t understand why people get so upset about it. It’s the most natural thing you can do and you’re giving your baby the best possible start.

“It doesn’t put me off [sharing photos]. It actually just makes me want to do it more. If I can help push it out there, then I’m going to.

“I’m a young mum, and a lot of people came to me after Baby Paul and said they hadn’t even thought about breastfeeding until they saw me doing it, and now they’re feeding and loving it. I love that!

“I don’t know why it’s so controversial. I think sometimes, maybe if people didn’t give it a go or they struggled, they feel a bit guilty or sad that they didn’t push through it.

I completely understand if it’s not for you as a parent, but if you can, it’s the loveliest bond.

“I knew before I was even pregnant the first time that I was going to breastfeed. Formula was never an option for me, even though my sister formula-fed Nelly [her daughter, now three].

I had the support from my family, and also Paul’s mum Gaynor breastfed both of her boys, so she was great.”

Baby Paul has adapted very well to being a big brother, despite Sam worrying beforehand about how she was going to give him enough of her time.

Towie’s Sam Faiers talks about gender disappointment and motherhood

“He’s been amazing with her. I didn’t know if he was going to be jealous or find it difficult, but he absolutely adores her, and won’t leave her alone.

“He’s always grabbing her and kissing her and it’s lovely. A bit much sometimes, but so lovely! He’s so protective over her.”

This year will see Sam and Big Paul continue to grow All Bits London, which they claim is on course for a “multimillion-pound turnover” by the end of this year.

Sam is also due to release her own organic skincare range, and her line of prams launches in both the UK and US in the next few months.

Securing distribution in nearly 500 Walmart and Babies”R”Us stores in the States has been a major coup – Sam is desperate to crack the American market.

She is also working with the NSPCC on its TalkPANTS campaign and is currently filming the next series of The Mummy Diaries.

She says the key to her staying power when so many of her Towie peers have fallen by the wayside has been her careful planning. She’s invested her money in property, which is currently rented out, and always has one eye on the next business opportunity.

“When I started in Towie, you earn so much so quickly, but it can be over in seconds.

Sam is about to release her own organic skincare rangeInstagram Sam is about to release her own organic skincare range

“Others were going out shopping and spending lots of money, but I never did that. I was saving for my house, and I felt so proud when I was able to buy it.

“Yeah, I might not have gone on a million holidays or bought lots of lovely shoes, but I had a property and I was only 20.

“I was always quite business-minded, and I invested. I was always thinking about longevity. You don’t know how long you’re going to be famous for, so you’ve got to use everything you can to get the most out of it.”

The timing of her Towie departure was everything. She stuck around long enough to build a brand, but got out before the market became saturated with ex-reality stars trying to make it on their own.

Favourite platform?

Instagram. I love sharing pictures of my babies.

Insta fave?

Olivia Culpo. I love her fashion and make-up. I’m a million miles away from that at the moment, so it’s nice to look through her feed.

Last DM?

It was from a fan – I follow a lot of them. They were wishing me a happy birthday.

Are you on Facebook?

No, I had an account about 10 years ago.

“I didn’t plan it, exactly, but it was the right time. I was having a good run with my books and products, so I had a lot to focus on.

“I channelled all my energy into that, and they were successful. Then I met Paul and had a baby really quickly.”

She’s planning a break from the baby-making for the time being, but would like more.
