Welling up, Holly admitted the story had got to her.
Another caller told how she requested her late mum was buried in the same outfit she wore to walk her down the aisle.
The presenter has cried on the show before, notably last year during a phone-in about late tot Charlie Gard and more recently when Simon Thomas described the moment he told his son that his mum had died.
On that occasion Holly was comforted by Phil as she wiped her tears away with a tissue.
