Dancing On Ice Reveal Hardest Judges’ Challenge Yet For Sunday’s Show Including 30 Seconds Of Solo Skating

THIS weekend’s Dancing On Ice will feature the hardest Judges’ Challenge yet for Sunday’s show including 30 seconds of solo skating.

And at the end of the tough task, TWO couples will be sent home in the show’s first double elimination.

Rex Features Jake Quickenden is the firm favourite to win after consistently topping the leaderboard

The remaining contestants are Brooke Vincent, Alex Beresford, Donna Air, Antony Cotton, Max Evans, Jake Quickenden and Kem Cetinay.

And they’ll all be hoping to successfully complete the week seven challenge where they’ll have to incorporate a sequence where they go from one end of the rink to the other in perfect unison.

To make it even trickier, the couples can’t hold on to each other or be touching in any way.

And according to show officials, the dance must include four semi circle loops.

The contestants learned of the shock double elimination at the end of last week’s show.

Presenter Phillip Schofield announced: “Next week our seven remaining couples take to the rink once more, no doubt they’ll have a few surprises for us. But right now, we’ve got a very big one for them.

“Next week, for the first time, there will be a double elimination. Two couples will leave the competition. Who will survive? Find out next week.”

Speaking on today’s This Morning, professional skater Matt Evers then revealed the double elimination will take place after the show’s first ever triple skate off.

He said: “I’ve got a bit of an exclusive for you guys, it’s a triple skate off, double elimination.
