Baffled shoppers are being sent TEA BAGS with their ASOS orders… and here’s the reason why

SHOPPERS have been left baffled after their online orders from ASOS came with tea bags in the packages.

Fashion fans have taken to Twitter to show off their new outfits as well as the tea that’s fallen out of their parcels when they’ve opened them up.

Wtf so I open up my order from ASOS to find they also sent me a selection of tea 😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/ImzJm4ihhr

And none of them could quite understand why they had been sent the complimentary gifts along with their new outfits.

One customer who was left scratching their head by the tea bags posted a picture of them alongside their ASOS order.

They wrote: “Wtf so I open up my order from ASOS to find they also sent me a selection of tea.”

While another shared a similar picture and added: “WTF @ASOS just opened my parcel and got some Ahmad tea.”

One shopper took to Twitter and said: “Omg ASOS sent me tea bags with my order dreams do come true.”

Another wrote: “Asos just sent me free tea and my day just got better.”

While one even added: “More excited that asos sent me complementary tea than I am to open my actual delivery.”

It had been unclear why ASOS sent the teabags out with the orders, but one shopper decided to ask the online retailer about the gift.

And the firm replied, simply saying: “We sometimes attach little gifts in our parcel to make your day extra special! Hope you love your little tea break.”

However, it is not the first time that ASOS has baffled shoppers.

In May, customers also reported receving half-opened packets of Polos with their orders.

We also recently told you about the £40 ASOS jumpsuit that looks like a massive pair of trousers.
